Origins Mini Facial Brush* (£5) | available from Debenhams and Feel Unique

Electronic facial cleansing brushes are everywhere at the moment. First came the Clarisonic, then came the cheaper alternatives and then several other duplicates filtered onto the market after that. But these high-tech whirling devices are not for everyone and sometimes it is quite nice to go back to basics and this is why Origins have released their new manual, soft-bristled Facial Cleansing Brush for a mere five pounds. In conjunction with their mini facial program that they are offering in stores; a complimentary 20 minute service that includes a 1-to-1 consultation, gentle dermabrasion and skincare advice, this colourful tool helps you achieve all the benefits of that mini facial at home, in your own time.

This new cleansing brush has the softest of bristles and helps maximise your cleanser’s benefits by sloughing away dull cells to reveal cleaner, healthier and brighter looking skin. I love to use it once a week with my Origins Make a Difference Rejuvenating Cleansing Milk – a match made in skincare heaven! This cleansing milk literally melts away the most stubborn of makeup along with all the other debris and dirt from the day leaving your skin feeling radiant and replenished. Once I have applied the cleanser all over my face I slightly dampen the mini facial brush and gently swirl it over my skin in small circular motions, avoiding the delicate eye area. I find it really helps cleanse the skin thoroughly and helps combat any dry patches that I sometimes suffer from down my nose and along my jawline. It is a great little addition to have tucked away in your skincare cupboard for when your skin needs an extra brightening boost and for £5, it is certainly a cheaper alternative to those fancy oscillating devices!

This is great for people who have skin even too sensitive for the sensitive cleansing option on the electronic ones.
