Essie Mint Candy Apple Nail Polish

IMG_3262
Essie Mint Candy Apple is one of those cult nail polishes that has been in my collection for many years now. This classic minty-green shade is such a popular polish and one that has been imitated time and time again but never duplicated. It is a beautiful, creamy pastel green with hints of blue undertones, making it more of a milky-aqua shade than a true mint green. Nonetheless it is a gorgeous polish and couldn’t be more perfect for a Springtime manicure. Fresh, pretty and opaque in two quick coats you know Summer is on its way when you start to see this delicate minty shade blossoming on my fingertips.

What is your favourite polish to pick when you want to give your nails a touch of mint?

I've been using a Barry M mint shade for such a long time but I find it chips quite badly. I think it's time to invest in this beaut, I keep seeing it pop up everywhere!!

I really love this shade, as well as all mint ones. One of my favorite polishes on the 'cheaper' end of the spectrum is Mint Mojito from CoverGirl. It's more on the aqua side, but it's beautiful!
