Jo Malone Velvet Rose & Oud Dry Body Oil

Whilst I have been falling head over heels in love with every other Jo Malone cologne and candle on the market at the moment,  I have foolishly been overlooking their range of dry body oils for some seriously hydrated and happy skin. In between slathering my skin with various body butters and lotions, I always ensure every week I treat it to an intense dose of body oil as I simply love the luxurious silky feeling it gives and the lasting fragrance.

Jo Malone’s Velvet Rose & Oud dry body oil is truly beautiful. The scent is a rich mixture of the darkest Damask rose wrapped with smoky Oud wood and layered with spicy clove and decadent praline. As we move into Autumn it is the perfect scent to add a warming, textural aroma to your skin and will help combat any dryness or flakiness that the cooler weather can cause. I love the fact that this oil comes with a spray pump dispenser so you can easily apply it straight to your skin and gently stroke it in to leave you with soft, supple skin without a greasy, sticky veil that some body oils can leave. The beauty of these dry body oils from Jo Malone is the fact that they always give you a layer of your favourite fragrance that lasts throughout the day so you can moisturise and fragrance your body in one easy step after stepping out the shower. For the ultimate in silky soft skin I love to use this body oil after the Vitamin E Body Treatment Scrub which is a luscious scrub and leaves your skin feeling shiny and new!

Indulge in this sensual and decadently-scented body oil from Jo Malone (£48) available in stores and online now. Have you tried any of Jo Malone’s dry body oils?

This looks like such a treat to have and use. I’ve heard a lot of good things about their perfumes but have never really been into body oils. I bet it smells divine though!! 🙂 xx
