Jo Malone Limited Edition Silk Blossom Cologne, £41 (30ml) or £82 (100ml)
available online and in stores

Ever since I bought my first Jo Malone candle a few months ago (which is still burning sweetly on my coffee table) I have been hooked on the Jo Malone brand and their gorgeous range of scents so delicately placed together such as Lime Basil & Mandarin or Earl Grey & Cucumber (trust me, it works!) Jo Malone’s most recent release welcomes a new, limited edition scent to the fragrance family encased in the most beautiful, vanity-table-worthy bottle complete with a pink ombre pompom.

This light, floral-fruity scent is the perfect way to welcome in the Summer with a combination of nature’s blooms, a fresh slice of apricot sprinkled with a touch of spice. It is fruity and enticing and has the tasting notes of white pepper, silk blossom and moss to give it a sweet yet earthy tone and making it so easy to wear day or night. One of the things I love about Jo Malone’s fragrances is their ability to be worn alone or layered with another scent to create a bespoke, truly individual effect. Freshen a rich floral with a citrus zing or add some spice for a warm allure. Jo Malone recommends layering Silk Blossom with Orange Blossom for a bright, feminine fragrance or spritz with Red Roses for a sparkling, romantic floral. The possibilities are endless which is why I don’t think I will ever tire of Jo Malone’s irresistible mix of fragrances.

Are you tempted by this pretty new scent?

YUM! I'm never tempted by Jo Malone because of the price tag! But I may have to give this a sniff to buy my mum, she is rather partial to a bit of Miss Malone.

New L'Oreal True Match Foundation post is up on my blog if you fancy having a read:

I love Jo Malone and don't doubt that it smells gorgeous but I hate the pink on this. Jo Malone packaging is super classy and this makes me think it looks like a teenage offering!! Stick to the neutrals I think.

I just picked this up the other day and you're right, the scent and packaging are both absolutely beautiful! I didn't know it was recommended to layer with Orange Blossom, which I also already own, but I can't wait to try the combination. 🙂
