DKNY Be Delicious launches New Limited Edition City Blossom Collection*
Rooftop Peony, Urban Violet and Empire Apple. £37 each, available from Boots

This iconic apple-shaped fragrance from DKNY with the equally sweet scent and packaging to match has adorned my dressing table countless times over the past few years. I think I remember finding it lurking at the bottom of my Christmas stocking one year when I was a teenager and ever since then it has become one of those “safe”, fun fragrances to have in your collection to give you a sunny spritz during the Summer months. This year, DKNY have decided to capitalise on the renowned love of their classic Be Delicious scent and launch the new, City Blossom collection which comprises of three beautifully presented fragrances inspired by a dreamy rooftop garden in the heart of New York City – a botanical delight and a magical escape from the bustling streets below. These limited edition perfumes are a pastel-lover’s dream and look so pretty and dainty on your beauty table, not to mention that they smell utterly delicious and will be perfect to take you into Summer with a spring in your step.

The pretty pink bottle houses Rooftop Peony, a subtle yet zesty scent of mandarin, pink lady apples, peony and raspberry. It is fruity and floral yet grounded by the base notes of sandalwood and amber. The lovely lilac bottle is Urban Violet and reminds me of blackberry picking under the afternoon sun. It is a little richer than Rooftop Peony and has notes of raspberry, rose, freesia and violet. The musk gives it a woody anchor and it is probably my favourite from the trio of scents. Finally, the iconic green-hued bottle is Empire Apple and features the classic Be Delicious fragrance in the limited edition packaging. Apple, cucumber, grapefruit and magnolia makes this scent so fresh, iconic and truly tempting and completes this new collection of botanical-inspired scents perfectly.
