Bourjois Blush Exclusif self-adjusting cream blusher* £7.99
available from Boots and Superdrug
I must confess, I was a little bit sceptical when I first saw this new self-adjusting, made-to-measure cream blusher from Bourjois, creating a personalised pink shade on your skin as you apply. Was it just a gimmick? Well naturally I got my fingers stuck straight in to see whether it was a hit or a miss, and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The cream-to-powder formula contains pH-reactive pigments that create a bespoke pink flush on your cheeks in reaction to your own skin’s pH. The lovely thing about this product is that everyone’s shade will be slightly different and it is quite exciting to see what customised colour the blush will create on you.
I don’t think I could have created a more ‘me‘ shade if I tried. It gave my cheeks a sweet, baby pink flush with a slightly dewy, radiant finish. Whereas I usually favour my fingers when applying cream blushers, I discovered that this product was much easier to use with a stippling brush such as the MAC duo fibre 188 brush. The texture is initially quite firm but after a few swirls of your brush or finger it softens up and applies smoothly onto your skin. A great little product for a quick and unique flush of pink!
Are you excited to try this bespoke blush?
I'm always a little sceptical of these products and I always think that my PH must be strange as I always get really dark colours compared to most people, It looks lovely on you though, the colour really suits you perfectly.

I've heard a few mixed things about this some people saying the colour dosent seem to change on them from what it is in the pan, I tried it today and it seemed to stay the same so I don't think I'm going to get it. Looks georgeous on you though! π x

Such a pretty colour on you, it sounds very similar to Dior – Rosy Glow, i always feel like they stay the same colour as in the pan on me but i dont mind as i love the colour anyway π
Following you, would love you to follow mine back.

I tried this in the shop and it looked exactly the same colour as in the pan, and the same as everybody on all the blogs I've seen it featured on so I'm a bit dubious about this! But that being said it's still a lovely colour so I might have to give it a try anyway

Looks lovely! Although I don't think the colour actually changes much, but that wouldn't bother me because it's such a gorgeous shade anyway! π

Wow I'm actually rather excited to try this out! The fact that everyone will have a slightly different shade will be so interesting to see. I haven't been a fan of creme blushes though always prefer powder, I will and use my stipple brush.
Was it long lasting the colour?

This product excites me! It's a bit like the Barry M lipstick which adapts to your unique lip colour.
Also, the photos on your blog are so good. I'm just starting to get into blogging and currently using my phone for pictures (doesn't look great). The quality of yours is outstanding!:)

Such a lovely colour, really suits you! Never used a cream blush, they always look amazing but I'm too hesitant to use them! Maybe I will as this is such an affordable price! xox
I probably would try this actually! It's not too expensive and quite cute, plus, I'm really into cheeks atm π

Very excited about this, really want to try it x
Its pretty and it suits you. The thing I am wondering about those type of product is "Do you get the same shade each time?" I mean do our PH fluctuate and so on? If so, how do you know if its going to suit the rest of your makeup?
Oh goodness this is such a pretty shade!
