I love the Summer. I love the bright mornings, balmy nights, the excuse for an ice cream at anytime of the day and the abundance of floaty fabrics that consume my wardrobe. However, one thing I don’t love about the Summer is hay fever! Just the mention of a picnic or a walk through the fields sends me into a sniffing, weeping mess complete with puffy eyes and red nose. One of my lifesavers this season has definitely been the Organic Surge Eye Gel which has been a welcome relief for my hay-fever-irritated eyes. It is an extremely lightweight gel that is quickly absorbed into the skin and instantly refreshes and rejuvenates the eye area, banishes any redness or puffiness. Packed full of lovely natural ingredients this eye gel is such a dream, whether you suffer from hay fever or not. The green tea extract reduces inflammation, the aloe vera naturally calms and moistures the skin whilst the menthol reduces puffiness, so is a great option to give you wide awake eyes in the morning or as a soothing treatment before bed.

Top tip: Keep it in the fridge and you are in for a refreshing, cooling sensation every time you apply!

This will definitely be part of my next order from organic surge! I passed it up last time thinking that a gel would feel weird on the eyes and now I'm kicking myself!

I reviewed this as well during the week, it's such a lovely product! It works WONDERS on spots, it takes all the redness away, and helps reduce the swelling too! xx

I absolutely hate my hay fever! The puffy eyes are such a nightmare, but cooling eye gels work a treat. I'm currently loving a REN active 7 radiant eye gel – it's reduced my puffiness big time.

My mum always suffers from hayfever and this year has been even worse, her eyes are red puffy and itchy, she hasn't been able to wear make-up. The only thing she has found that has actually calmed it down is the eye cream that Lush sells!
