New Essie nail polishes

A sunny Friday lunchtime can only mean one thing; a chilled mango and Passionfruit frappe and a stalk of my favourite beauty aisles before heading back to work. Rumour on the beauty grapevine was that Superdrug were offering 3 for 2 across all their nail polish brands so I naturally made a beeline for my local store and promptly ended up face to face with the glorious sight of Essie. I really like Essie polishes and think they are completely worth their price tag, just for the names alone! The quality and range of shades is pretty unmatchable when it comes to Essie polishes and after much deliberation I had chosen my final three.

“The More the Merrier” is a new shade from their Summer 2013 collection and is an awesome bright lime green shade that isn’t too neon but is perfectly vibrant after just two coats. “Fiji” is a classic Essie shade that every blogger and their mum raves about. It is a very simple, clean pale pink colour that isn’t too stark but ultra sophisticated and would look marvellous with a tan! To complete my trio of talon tantalisers, I picked up “Peach Daiquiri” which is beautiful all the way from bottle to nail. It is a bright, creamy-coral shade that just screams cocktails on the beach and will make a flip-flop worthy pedicure colour for many a barbecues this summer! Definitely my favourite of the three!

    Hmm, I like the green but I've literally just bought a bright green, not sure on the other two as I feel I already own those colours by other brands! I've never tried the brand though, maybe I should take a look while they're so cheap.

    I usually stick to nudes/light pinks colours from essie, but peach daiquiri looks so pretty!

    Both Fiji and Peach daiquri were my recent purchases. But I think I love Bottle Service from neons 2013 the most. It's just perfect pink which tends to dry to matte finish. But with shiny topcoat it's the most gorgeous summer colour.

    I've recently realised that I own no pinks! When I was younger I had so many so I stopped buying them, I think the peach colour will be a good addition for me 🙂

    Gorgeous colours!

    I've often found myself swooning over Essie nail polishes – there are so many great colours and everyone seems to give them fab reviews, but I've never dared to take the plunge!
