Benefit World Famous Neutrals kits

World Famous Neutrals Kit*, £23.50
available from Benefit Cosmetics

Benefit never cease to impress me with their cute, compact and highly desirable makeup kits for lips, cheeks and beyond. However, I had never really championed the brand when it came to amazing and wearable eyeshadow shades. Yes their creaseless cream shadows/liners are fabulous on their own as a base or pale wash of colour but it always seemed that Benefit was lacking an all encompassing palette of complimentary colours for the eyes. That was until now. Welcome to the World Famous Neutrals Kits which house an irresistible selection of four longwear powder shadows accompanied by two mini creaseless cream shadows which make the perfect base – wonderfully buildable and completely smudge-proof. Under the lid comes Benefit’s instant beauty tips and tricks to help you create a multitude of looks from easy, sexy to glamorous and everything inbetween. The longwear shadows are beautifully smooth and velvet-like to apply, and even though they aren’t the most pigmented shadows I’ve used, they are soft and flattering on the lid and so easy to blend and buff in. Each kit contains a mixture of different finishes from matte, satin and shimmering which gives you free reign to contour and highlight just as you wish!

Easiest Nudes Ever…believable-bronze eyeshadows

Makeup fit for a goddess! This kit is beautiful and one of my favourites as it contains a sweet pink for all over your lids as well as gorgeous shimmering bronze, “thanks a latte”, that works wonder as the crease colour or lightly lined under your lash line. ‘Call my buff’ is a pale shell colour that nicely highlights the brow bone and the inner corners of the eye.

Sexiest Nudes Ever…dramatic, daring eyeshadows

The perfect kit to take you from daytime to night time! This is definitely one of the most daring palettes from the collection and a little more dazzling a little less neutral my liking. An array of soft lilac, pearly white, smoky amethyst and a brilliant silver greets you as you lift the lid along with a smouldering charcoal creaseless shadow which makes a perfect shade to line your lashes with to give your look a dramatic finish.

Most Glamorous Nudes Ever…rich, illuminating eyeshadows

The palette that made me squeal with joy! This is undoubtably my favourite kit from the eyeshadow trio and is the one I know I will get the most use out of. It is just my cup of tea with a classic selection of peach and copper shades that compliment each other beautifully and give your lid a subtle shimmer. I used this kit to create the below look using “call my buff” in the corners and under my brow, “it’s complicated” all over the lid blended into “guilty pleasure” with “kiss me, i’m tipsy” contoured into the crease.

Foundation, Bourjois healthy mix serum. Lipstick, MAC Snob. Blusher/highlighter, The Body Shop shimmer palette

Are you a neutral lover like me? Do you like the look of these new eyeshadow kits from Benefit?
