Gold Jacquard

outfit 8.2

Jumper – H&M

Jacquard trousers – Topshop (sale)

Necklace – H&M

Shoes – New Look

Slowly but surely, between the snow flurries and the torrential downpours, the days are getting longer and it is beginning to feel like Spring at last. Therefore I felt it was high time to give my wardrobe a bit of a purge and introduce some transitional pieces to replace the 100 denier tights and chunky knits. I featured this same jumper here in its rather brighter counterpart and love how it makes a perfect blank canvas for a piece of statement jewellery. I have always raved about H&M jewellery and recently have added four or five new pieces to my necklace collection, the above being one of them. The gold jacquard cigarette pants were an absolute gem from the Topshop sale and I knew they would be the winning antidote to try and coax me out of my leggings and ugg boots…and so far they are working although chilly ankles are proving a bit of an issue. Brrr.

I hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend; I know I am. And as a little side thought, I am thinking of saying farewell to the blonde and going back dark. A chocolatey, glossy brown perhaps. Thoughts??

Ooh those trousers are so fabulously 60s!

Re the hair, I think you'd look gorgeous dark (heck you'd look gorgeous with a tin foil hat) but I dunno, I just love the blonde on you so much… wouldn't you miss it in the summer when it makes all the brights/neons POP so amazingly? Am thinking of that Topshop floral dress you looked so amazing in, for example…

Ooh going dark would be nice, but I do like you blonde. You suit both really well. I love how you've styled your hair here too – lovely. xx

    Helloooo you!
I love those trousers, they're gorgeous.
As for going dark, do it. I've just got rid of my super light blonde hair too, I love how quickly it grows when it's not being bleached all the time too! Plus, you can always go back blonde in the future.
I'd go for a cooler or neutral toned brown though, I think it'd really make your eyes stand out, you have the right skin tone to pull it off too.

Lovely outfit post hunu. H&M is so good for affordable but lovely accessories! I think you suit most colours, but as I said yesterday, before you turn to the dark side, mae the most of the bleech and do pastel colours! Espec for SS/13! You are lucky with the blonde already and your skintone, you'd suit it πŸ™‚ xx
