Origins Make a Difference Plus+ Ultra-rich rejuvenating cream* – £33
available online

When the biting chill of winter begins to hit, I always feel the need to notch my skincare up a level and give my skin a little extra TLC. I don’t tend to suffer from dry skin at all but occasionally during the winter months I feel my skin is tight, lacklustre and a little less plump than I would like. My nose is the first to go thanks to the inevitable winter sniffles and nose-blowing that occurs, and then I can suffer from dry patches around my lips and chin. My skin saviour this winter has been the Origins’ Make a Difference Plus ultra-rich rejuvenating cream which boasts a list of benefits as lengthy as its name!

This cream is rich, luxurious and decadent to use. It is amazing at relieving any feeling of tightness and hydrating tired, thirsty skin. Because it is so thick and creamy, this product doesn’t sink into the skin instantly but take around 20-30 minutes to be thoroughly absorbed. For this reason, I would definitely recommend using this rejuvenating cream as a night time treatment so you allow the skin all night to be intensely moisturised. It actively restores the skin’s hydration levels without feeling heavy or greasy on the surface which is quite impressive considering how viscous the texture is. It smells beautiful too with a fruity combination of lychee and watermelon. If you suffer from the dreaded dry skin during the winter months then I would definitely recommend sampling this little skin saviour!

What creams do you turn to for a little TLC?
