Especially Escada Delicate Notes Eau de Toilette* £31 (30ml)
available from Boots

For me, Escada perfumes are synonymous with duty-free purchases and summertime escapism. I was young and the perfumes were always so fun and vivacious, it was an irresistible combination and they will constantly remind me of holidays abroad. The most recent fragrance from Escada is a lot more English summer than tropical paradise with a soft and feminine arrangement of wild roses, pear and ylang ylang. It is the more delicate, lighter version of its 2011 predecessor, Especially Escada, which is the original fragrance based around the aroma of roses.

Especially Escada Delicate Notes Eau de Toilette is a delightful perfume, so breezy and fresh, inspired by a joyful and spontaneous spirit. I particularly love the elegant packaging with a frosted glass bottle exposing the pale pink fragrance, topped with the iconic, double E golden lid. The fragrance is safe and girly, nothing revolutionary or groundbreaking but extremely pleasing and lingers nicely on the skin. It is definitely more of a day time perfume and splendidly manages to be powdery and crisp all at the same time. I love the subtlety and feel-good nature of this perfume. It is uncomplicated and refined with a romantic softness, like an English rose garden in full bloom. Definitely worth a spritz next time you are visiting Boots!

I've always associated Escada with teenage sweetness but this sounds gorgeous! I will definitely be trying a spritz when I next go to a perfumery! Great post!
