Real Techniques kabuki brush*
And the award for the cutest makeup brush goes to…
I don’t talk about my favourite makeup brushes enough on my blog, but I do have quite a collection and there are definitely a few firm favourites of mine that reap an unfair amount of use. The Real Techniques kabuki brush is one of these such brushes. Not only is it very cute, perfectly sized for popping in your make up bag and made from cruelty-free synthetic bristles but it unfolds giving it two unique uses. Firstly, it can be used closed as a kabuki for buffing in powder or precisely applying blushers with its soft tapered edge. Secondly it can be unfolded to create a wide spread brush, perfect for sweeping on bronzer, highlighting or contouring your cheekbones. I love a brush that is multi-purpose, not to mention ridiculously soft!
Real Techniques are a range of hi-tech makeup brushes created by Samantha Chapman, one half of the infamous Pixiwoo, designed to make creating that pixel-perfect look easier than ever. The brushes have recently been released in Boots, so if you are lucky you may be able to get your hands on them in your local store, but if not they are available to purchase online from Love Makeup.
Do you go crazy for kabukis? Have you tried any Real Techniques brushes?

I've never heard of this brand before but I really like the look of this brush, I've been looking for a new blusher brush as mine is useless so I think I might just have to give this one a try xoxo
