thinking outside the box

Hello ladies. So today I have some exciting news to share with you all. This is something that has been brewing for some time now and I feel relieved that I can finally spill the beans and fill you all in on some interesting developments in my world. Today sees the launch of a brand new beauty box. Now I know, I know, the beauty market is currently awash with various subscription boxes, all offering you a monthly parcel packed full of beauty goodies and the like, but I believe this one could bring something new to the table.

Carmine is an exclusive beauty parcel that thinks outside the box! Not only does it give you VIP access to new beauty products every month, but also offers you unique content and a fabulous online community experience via their website. Each month it will deliver to your door some of your favourite products as well as helping you discover some hidden gems, items you may not have considered purchasing before. However, Carmine is going one step further than offering you a simple sampling service. They are aiming to build up a strong online community, allowing their subscribers to share their thoughts, discuss and rate products online with each other, as well as participate in activities and competitions. Over time it is Carmine’s aim to build up a truly personalised service for its subscribers; through completing your online beauty profile, your boxes can be tailored to fit your personal wants and needs.

Finally, and this is the bit where I come in, Carmine want to offer great online content to give you a deeper understanding and insight into the brands and products you receive. This will include video tips and tricks and interviews with beauty experts, giving you a more wholesome experience from your subscription. As well as all that, Carmine will be hosting online beauty columns bringing you beauty news, reviews and hot topics each month. I am really thrilled to announce that I am one of Carmine’s freelance beauty columnists. It is such a crazily amazing opportunity, one where I can grow and nurture my very own beauty column, and do what I love doing most – writing creatively about beauty, fashion and lifestyle. I will be writing two pieces for my column each month, the first based around one of the products featured in the box; the second being a more personal approach based on a subject of my choice. My first article is well under way and I will of course share this with you when my column is up and running!

Having met with the enthusiastic team behind Carmine, I feel very positive and excited by this new venture, and think it is a fun spin on the beauty box idea that could really appeal to a wide market, adding a new online dimension for those who love to immerse themselves in all things beauty. Despite my work as one of their freelance beauty columnists, this will not affect my honesty and transparency if I chose to review their service, as I am only contributing to their online content. I will be learning about Carmine, and discovering the good and the bad, along with you all. I will shortly be running a competition giving five of my readers the chance to receive Carmine’s first beauty box completely free, as well as giving you more details on how you could ‘Win a Job’ with Carmine, being your very own guest beauty columnist., so stay tuned for that!

Apologies for the rather lengthy post but I felt there was so much to tell you and I wanted to update you with my exciting news as soon as possible.
The Carmine beauty box monthly subscription is £10 per month (+£2.75 p&p) and is available to order as of today. If you have any initial questions then feel free to comment me below and I will endeavour to get them answered. Carmine has literally launched today, merely a few minutes ago, so have a little look and let me know your initial thoughts on this new beauty box service and Carmine’s creative community.
