YSL Touche Éclat Neutralizer Colour Correctors

Sallowness, dullness, redness, under-eye circles and dark spots are all issues that our skin experiences that your average concealer or foundation cannot possibly cover, all in one go. These problematic areas can occur in all different places on your face so you need a few different tools in your makeup bag to help combat all the different tones and this is where the magic of colour correcting comes into its own. Once you’ve tried it, you will wonder how you got along without it!

Yves Saint Laurent have given their iconic Touche Éclat golden ‘clicky’ pen an update to help address these skin issues. The YSL Neutralizer Colour Corrector pens come in three shades to help balance out your skin, neutralise, colour correct and even out discolouration. They take on the exact same format as the original brightening and glow-giving pen but dispenses three different colours of liquid that cancel out and correct the relevant issue. We have Green, Apricot and Violet and just like the legendary Touche Éclat, the formula is smooth, creamy and easy to blend, feeling quite light on your skin. Simply dab or swipe on to apply the colour then blend with a beauty blender or your fingertips.

The key to colour correcting is to think of a colour wheel – colours that are opposite will help cancel each other out. So the Green pen neutralises redness and blemishes. The Violet one works wonders on dull or sallow skin. Finally the Apricot pen neutralises dark spots and improves the skin’s uniformity. These are great (and not to mention very pretty!) additions to have in your makeup bag for those times when your concealer is just not cutting in and you need to correct colour with one easy click and swipe!
