Getting a glow with The Estée Edit

Hydrated skin with a glowing, radiant complexion is top of my beauty agenda as we approach Summer! I want my skin to look fresh and illuminated and hopefully try and fake a sun kissed glow as I stay in Essex and dream of jetting off to somewhere exotic this Summer!

I’ve been using a mixture of products recently to really prep, treat and add a glow to my skin and three particular products have been working wonderfully together so I had to just share them with you. They are all relatively new releases from The Estée Edit, Estée Lauder’s fun, edgier little sister makeup range. First up is the Radiance Activator Treat + Prep + Glow – a 3 in 1 serum that brightens, hydrates and adds radiance whilst working as a skincare product as well. I love that fact you can wear it alone as a skincare step, mix it in with your foundation to sheer the product out and add dewiness or dab it over the top of your makeup to give luminosity to your finished look. Personally I think this works amazingly as a skincare serum due to all the fab ingredients; the fact it makes your skin look glowy and bright is just an added bonus. It contains Pink Peony to soothe fatigued skin and a good dose of our old favourite, hyaluronic acid, for an instant shot of hydration. It is smooth and creamy and multifunctional, it is a staple for me this Summer.

Beam Team Bronze Hydrate + Glow is another fun product that can be used in a few ways to moisturise and highlight the skin, giving you a gorgeous bronzed glow! The tube contains a liquid bronzer/tinted moisturiser that also boasts hyaluronic acid to moisturise the skin at the same time as giving it an instant shot of sun. Once again you could wear this product alone, under your base product or mixed in with your foundation to warm up your complexion and really pep up your skin. It isn’t sparkly or too greasy so feels really nice and clean on the skin. Under a flip lid, hidden in the cap, is a deep golden cream bronzer which is perfectly formed to apply directly onto your cheeks or whether you fancy some sunny shine. It is enriched with coconut oil so smells of holidays – so you can dream you are lying on a beach somewhere whilst putting on your makeup.

Last up is a powder product if you aren’t such a fan of dewy, liquid products on your face but still want a golden glow and warmth. The Estée Edit Flash Illuminator Fluid Powder Highlighter actually begins life as a liquid and is baked overnight into a super-creamy texture which is why it feels so soft and velvety on the skin. Not at all chalky and no chunky glitter in sight! It features multi-sixes pearl particles that reflect light to give your skin that luminous sheen we all crave. There is only one shade available, Heat, which is a golden-peachy colour and one that I think would suit most skin tones. It really gives that lit-from-within glow and is beautiful applied along cheekbones, down your nose and through the brow bones. Because it isn’t too sparkly I feel you can’t go far wrong with this powder and I like to give my whole face a good ol’ sweep! Say hello to the glow!

I’d love to know if you have been using any of these products recently or what your favourite picks are to give your skin that summer glow?

I’d love to try the Radiance Activator – I tried it on my hand at a Beauty event a little while ago and thought it felt lovely. I’ve been trying the Pink Peony Overnight Water Pack when I’ve been going to bed at night and that makes my skin feel fab. I can’t wait to try more from the Estee Edit range.

    Great Post!

    xoxo
