Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka Cologne Intense (and the new mini bottles!)

The mere sight of those shiny black bottles from the Jo Malone Cologne Intense range gets me excited and eager to have a spritz. The Cologne Intense collection is exactly what it says on the tin bottle, a selection of rich, decadent, sensual scents that are arguably the brand’s more unisex range of fragrances and offers us a seriously sensual experience thanks to the blend of precious ingredients. In my opinion they seem to linger for longer and are such an elegant addition to your fragrance family.

Jo Malone have recently added a new member to the Cologne Intense range – welcome Myrrh and Tonka. Say hello to a heady, potent mix of the sap from the Namibian myrrh tree, a whisper of warm almond and a creamy wave of vanilla floating through. It is described as noble. Sensual. Intoxicating. It also has a top note of lavender which adds a slight herbal freshness to the scent and lightens the overall smokiness. It is without doubt one sexy fragrance and can definitely be enjoyed by ladies and gents alike, although I am not sure I am willing to share this one!

Another exciting update from Jo Malone London is that they are now offering their Cologne Intense range is mini 50ml bottle – perfectly pocket-sized and ready to slip into your handbag as you head out for the night! These bottles are super cute and so dinky – absolutely ideal for travelling or just to collect, line up and look sweet on your dressing table!

I really need a new fragrance! I’ve been testing different ones recently as my skin has been particularly kind to me with perfume this year…I’m definitely going to go and have a smell when I’m next in store, especially because Jo Malone fragrances are gorgeous! xx
