a winter walk

Snow is falling…all around me.
Any desired movement today by yours truly can only be undertaken on foot. With my mini buried under the snow flurry and many a country road to be navigated around before I reach civilisation, it was the perfect excuse, and postcard setting, for a winter walk…

I fully confess that snow blizzards bring with them upmost inconvenience and spiral the place into cuckoo chaos, but who doesn’t love being the first person to bequeath their footprints onto a freshly-cascaded blanket of snow?

Snow is such an inconvenience but I have to admit everything looks so pretty- especially living in a village and walking my dog super early in the morning!

We've had a little snow, not enough for a snow day yet. Fingers crossed.
It's a pain but so pretty, just hate the slushy inbetween melting bit.

Very lovely pictures – I am so envious of your beautiful British snow! I happen to live in the only part of Canada where we get about two sprinklings of snow a year, its quite tragic.

I live in Leeds and the snow has been horrific today it's snowed pretty much none stop since 09:00am. We were all sat at work looking out the window every 10minutes and you could just see the snow getting deeper and deeper. They eventually let everyone go home early as the entire city had pretty much shut down.

Your pictures are fantastic, I like the use of photoshop to highlight the berries on the bush that's a pretty cool effect. The phone box photo also looks like it has a bit of a vintagey effect unless you go lucky with the shot and it just turned out like that?
